Just getting into reloading for my new G40. I can get loaded Magtech ammo for around $.30 a round but I'm only interested if the brass holds up. Any experiences with CBC in 10mm? I've always found it a little harder to size in 9mm but otherwise it works fine. Other option is to just get some $tarline.

I can not say exactly for 10mm but I have a lot of CBC brass in 357, 44 mag and assorted 9mm, 40 sw, 45 and it is all good. Would not think their 10mm is any different.

I've only loaded CBC in 45 ACP. It seems just as good as other brass. Can't imagine their 10mm would be bad stuff.

I've been shooting Sig 10mm. The brass is beat the hell up after it ejects, but seems to resize fine.

I'm going to buy an order of 1000 Starline 10mm this year. I don't really want to pay for factory 10mm, though $0.30 per shot may be worth it to have fun and then recover the brass.

OK thanks for the help guys. Just ordered 1,000 rounds so that should keep me in brass for a little while. :)

Or for 5 minutes depending on your ejection pattern. CBC is just fine. The only brass I have ever had issues with was Armscor marked, but it resolved itself after the first firing (I bought it loaded).

I reloaded 10mm for a short while. I bought armscorp ammo pretty cheap. I picked 20 cases at random to use for load workup and I put about a dozen loads on them without any failures that weren’t due to pisspoor gun design, and I think I only lost 2 of those. I was given a few other cases, CBC being one of those, it worked fine, but for cheap brass I would look at the armscorp stuff as I know it’s great.
