don't know if this should be in general or not, but since it deals with long guns, maybe it is appropriate here.

what is the news on the supposed Saigs shipments? I heard of the problems with the Saiga-12 shotguns going so short that they arent even being shipped in complete orders anymore - if at all.

I then heard some things on Saiga rifle prices possibly going up because of both the demand and because of shipment delays and so forth.

Does anyone know what is really going on with them?

Prices on all imported firearms are going up because of the crappy condition of the Dollar. That and the Saiga brand does have a history of dry spells in the supply for various reasons.

You're bringing up a two year old problem? The "short saiga 12" problem was solved 2 years ago when it happened.

They'll get here when they get here. It is always this way with them.

I just picked up another Saiga today for $329. I had ordered it about two or three months ago and paid $319 up front with the understanding that they didn't know exactly what the price would be when it came in. Their distributor told them that cost had risen about ten percent on the shipment they received but since I had paid for it up front the price to me was only $10.oo higher. Centerfire has them for $299, so, I feel that I did alright. My dealer got two and both were sold when they came in.
