If any of you guys have ever bought mag pouches from SigMadMan over on the Sig Forums, you'll know what I'm talking about here. They have a new website now, and started sending emails to old customers, which is how I found out about the new site. I had them make pouches for my old Glock, which I don't have anymore, so I got some new ones from them last week.
I've been shooting dad's old Smith & Wesson 5906 in casual competitions for several years. I love the gun, but it's hard to find gear for it. A buddy of mine steered me to these guys for kydex mag pouches a few years back, and they're awesome. Pretty quick turnaround, good prices, and they can make custom pouches for basically anything, which is nice. Free shipping if you buy more than $50 worth of stuff. They didn't have my magazine model in stock, so I mailed them one to mold off of and then they sent it back to me with my order. Once they got my magazine, total turnaround time was about 6 days for 5 pouches, although they say it takes longer.
The pouches are nicely made, and really compact, which is sweet because I'm a scrawny guy so they don't take up tons of room on my belt. That's hard to find these days, especially for big mags. Retention isn't adjustable, but they mold it for the exact magazine and mine are pretty perfect. They hold really well but release the mag as soon as the draw starts. I got the straight-drop version, but you can get them canted if you want. They had a really good selection of lefty pouches if you need those.
My phone is being stupid or I'd upload some photos of my new mag pouches. I'm going to post a couple pics from their website though, because these things deserve to be shared. They do good work. I will definitely buy from them again. I'm thinking I just found my brother's and dad's Christmas presents.
