Jeezus, will you try to comprehend what I wrote? Where did I say to "ignore the facts"? It's you who are ignoring the uncomfortable facts in favor of a fairy tale about bogeymen who "hate our (supposed) freedoms."

I believe the islamofanatics do hate & fear the sort of freedom that most in the west enjoy-

I don't really see that they hate our freedoms. I don't think they care at all about our freedoms if we keep them to ourselves. I really think it boils down to a religious issue. What they see as American/Western crusades into Muslim countries, Israel in Palistine, etc. I think if all Americans (well, I suppose all infidels really) left the Arabian peninsula and all Jews were exterminated and a Palestinian state were established, they'd be satisfied.

That ain't gonna happen, so therein lies the rub.

A lot of folks whose freedoms could be included under the banner of "our freedoms" fit into just those categories, including, as you infer, anyone who isn't muslim .

"Hate" seems to accurately describe the emotion the islamofanatics display in their attacks on the the jews, for example, or the U.S..

Do the islamofantics hate our 'freedom', or merely our existence? Perhaps they do merely 'hate' our influence in the world today.

Seems to me that these folks fear/hate the freedom to choose which in not available to the average muslim peasant .
