I'm not sure if this belongs in the rifle section as it's really an AR pistol. Even so, here it is for your entertainment- Project Wolf Cub. I've been wanting a snub nosed AR for some time. Trouble is, the uncomfortable awkwardness of the AR pistols keeps it from being little more than a novelty. The Sig Arm Brace changes that

If you want the compactness of an AR pistol and have it controllable and comfortable to shoot, get the SB15. It elevates the AR pistol from a mere novelty to a handy, comfortable to shoot tool suitable for HD, the field or just plinking. The Arm Brace is well worth the price

My Sig PM400 AR Pistol with 11.5 barrel and Sig Brace is now my everyday truck gun and for HD. I use 75-77gr. ammo thru it and it is very reliable and fun to shoot at the range. The brace is the way to go on an AR Pistol.

It's a pistol RE from Phase 5. Internal length is the same as the carbine RE and uses a carbine buffer & spring. External length is shorter

You inspired me! I ordered a Sig SB15 arm brace, Sig tac 3.5" extended buffer tube and castle nut for my AR pistol. That should make it more fun to play with.

This is her as she sits now...

The Sig brace is the way to go if you don't want to hassle with am SBR. I can get 2850fps with a Barnes 53gr from my 10.5" which is more than adequate.

Ditto the SiG Arm Brace is pretty cool on an AR or an AK ... The one place I can see people getting into trouble is putting a short barrel & a pistol buffer & an arm brace on a rifle and trying to pass it off as a pistol which wouldn't be legal

I changed out the pistol RE for a rifle RE. I did so because the length of the rifle RE will give the SB 15 better support and have softer recoil. The hole in the back of the receiver for the detent pin & spring was tapped for a 4-40 set screw to hold everything in place.

The OD of the rifle RE is too small for the SB15 so it was built up in typical redneck fashion with gaffer's tape to hold it in place.

Test firing shows the Cub does indeed have softer recoil with the rifle RE
