I finally succeeded in sighting my semi buckhorn sight on my Henry Big Boy.

I still need to tweak it a bit more.

Anyway, target st 30 yards for testing those 4 loads;

1-W 244 7.3 g with 200 g lead rnfp
2- Enforcer 20g Winchester hp and XTP 240g
3-N110 20.4g Winchester hp and XTP 240g
4- IMR 4227 22.2 g Winchester hp and XTP 240g

I am very happy with these load and i will be trying to improve the accuracy.

Judge by yourself.

Oh! And Happy New Year to all of you.

3-N110 20.4g Winchester hp and XTP 240g
Mine was a Magtech 240 Gr, but I also ended up at 20.4 Grs of N-110, which my Redhawk loves.
4- IMR 4227 22.2 g Winchester hp and XTP 240g
Back when I had a Winchester in .44 Mag, mine liked jacketed 240 Gr and 4227 a lot. I ended up slightly higher than 22.2 Grs.

I absolutely love N110 in 44 Mag. Anywhere from 20-21.5(still under VV's 22.1gr max) with a 240 XTP were all great shooters. Enforcer is one I'd like to find and try out a bit. That IMR 4227/240 XTP load looks like a winner!

IMR 4227/XTP seem to be a winning combo. With a 20" barrel, i did not find any unburned kernel and no soot on my cases.

Enforcer/Winchester seem also promising.

N110 will also be tweaked. It is true that this powder burn clean. For what i read, single base powder seems to be less harsh on firearms. With the Lee PPM, stick powders meter like a charm.
