Proper sling use.

So uhm what is it?

When useing a sling on a rifle I like to adjust it to a length where I can stick the sling on the edge of my left elbow and hold the sling taughnt to keep a a nice stable platform . Am I doing it right or is there another way?

If you move the sling further up your arm toward the armpit, it will be steadier. Tip: Dry fire at a black thumbtack in the wall (make sure there are no people behind the wall for safety) to save money.
