I am looking to build a little coyote rifle and was going to buy or build an upper to put on my M&P Sport 2 lower just to swap in and out when I go hunting. But, my local gun store has a shipment of PSA complete lowers in and with my 10% discount I can get one for $179.00. I'd probably swap the adjustable stock out for a fixed stock if I get one. This has probably been answered a bunch of times, but are these good buys?

If so, it would fit my need more than using the Sport 2 lower and just keep it for my farm gun and let me build a dedicated coyote gun.

By the time you paid shipping and transfer, you would be at the same price buying them from PSA. So, same product, same price, no wait? Yes, it's a good deal. You could build one from a stripped lower, but, again, at the same price. PSA is almost always good stuff.

Right now, with the election looming, I would say go ahead and buy one if you have the cash. PSA products have a pretty good reputation.

I would venture you could find a better overall deal than that. $180 for the carbine, then replacing the stock for $40-65 gets you up around or over the cost of a complete A2 style lower at regular price.

Not a bad deal on the PSA, and not a bad plan, so if $25-30 isn't a big deal, you know where these are and don't have to hunt. If you're wanting to save yourself time and effort changing stocks and that legwork, then you can likely find one easily enough which doesn't cost as much as that total package.

I have a PSA complete rifle and the lower is just fine. The trigger is true mil-spec, 8 lb pull and full of grit, but for $140 complete, I'm not complaining.

Why bother with a fixed stock? I'm a big fan of adjustable stocks, especially since you're likely to be hunting coyotes in cold weather and the adjustable stock will better accommodate thick winter clothes.

They are good to go. I have 2 paid about 180 out the door locally so price seems good. Their lower price have been going up the last few weeks from what I have seen. Not much but like 20$ out so.
