Hey guys-

I just got a new PTR91 and was disassembling it to give it a good cleaning before taking it out to the range. When I took the trigger pack out of the housing (polymer pistol grip and trigger guard) this small washer fell out with it. I'm thinking it goes in the back of where the safety goes through but I'm not sure how it would go. Can someone take a look at theirs and see where this piece goes? I'd certainly appreciate it. Thanks for looking.

I sent an e-mail off to PTR. I guess I'll see how good their customer service is.

I'm just confused because I don't see this part on any parts diagrams of the trigger pack but that's definitely where it fell from.

Niether my PTR-91SC nor my CETME have one of those anywhere in the trigger pack. My PTR has a different trigger cage then you pictured. I can only guess that that spring washer goes between the trigger pack and the lower to take up any slack. Is there any slack in the lower/trigger pack fit?

No, not really any play when I put it back in the housing. PTR replied back and asked me to call them. I'll call tomorrow and post what they tell me. Thanks for the effort.

Later HK trigger packs have a c-clip to retain the ejector pivot pin.
+1

For sure not on the other end of the safety/selector lever, which is held in once it is rotated thru its arc from vertical, by little stubs on the shaft that engage notches in the trigger pack frame.

Well, thanks for the help guys. I spoke to Chris Petersen over at PTR and he helped me get this mystery solved. The bushing goes on the inside of the hole for the selector that has the notch cut out and gives the selector something to ride on instead of the metal of the trigger pack itself. The thinking is that you can replace the bushing and not worry about having to buy a new trigger pack.

Anyway, I have to give a shout out to Chris and PTR for excellent customer service. I had him on the phone in 30 seconds and he did an excellent job of walking me through the solution.
