I'm considering getting some pulled milsurp bullets to use as plinking loads for my .308 and my 7.5 Swiss. Anybody have any experience with them? Will my accuracy suffer?

If accuracy is no better than milsurp ammo, I might as well just buy milsurp ammo, cuz my reloaded costs still around $190/1000, which is more than the current case price for .308.

'Course, the 7.5 Swiss is a lot more than that...

I've loaded a bunch of the Winchester 147 grain pulled boatailed FMJs in .30-06 and .308.
In my M1A with loads that ran about 2,550 fps I sometimes got sub-MOA accuracy with them at 200 yards. I always got accuracy good enough for NRA Highpower Matches at that distance.

I've used 30 cals and also 55 grain .223's .... for plinking I have found them well adequate. They only seem to sport the smallest of collet marks and otherwise look in very good shape.

Being a lazya$$ tho - still these days more tempted toward the reasonable priced milsurp deals!
