I have some 180 Hornaday Interbonds loaded in 30.06. I'm getting a slight hang fire >.5sec using BLC-2 and a Standard Large Rifle Primer.

I want to pull them and swap the primer with a Magnum Primer to see if that will help the hang fire. Any idea if Accuracy of the bullet will be decreased from the pull? I'm pulling with a Kinetic hammer puller. I really don't need another box of Interbonds as I use about 5-10 a year.

Just make sure you have a little cushion in the bottom of your puller. I think some of them come with one in there. Others do not. Use a small piece of rubber. That way, when the bullet comes out it doesn't mess up the tip.

The pulled bullets should be fine. You may wish to consider a different powder for that weight of bullet in 30/06.

Put an earplug in the bullet puller if you are using the hammer type. It will protect the bullet. If you used a really hard crimp you may have problems crimping them again, but other than that you should be fine.

And here we thought bullet accuracy came from the tail of the bullet.

It does, most folks just like the rounds to look good and they feel better if they have a nice pointy nose. It has almost no affect on accuracy.
