Tonyb, there's this:

Christian Slater -
[blockquote]Arrested in West Hollywood, CA. after allegedly leading sheriff's deputies on a car chase. A police spokeman's says Slater crashed into a telephone pole, kicked a cop after getting out of his car, and then tried to escape over a fence. He was charged with evading police, driving under the influence, assault with a deadly weapon {his cowboy boots} and driving with a suspended license. [29 December 1989]

Arrested at New York's JFK airport on Dec. 23, 1994. He was carrying a pistol in a carry-on, allegedly a beretta 92.

Arrested by Los Angeles police and charged with three counts of assault with a deadly weapon and one count of battery. [11 August 1997]

Sentenced to three months in jail, and 36 months probation, for assaulting his girlfriend Michelle Jonas and a police officer, as well as cocaine abuse. [9 December 1997]

Starts three month jail sentence. Released after 59 days for good behavior. [14 January 1998][/blockquote]
I think it's safe to say the answer is that he had firearms and used to shoot them. He probably still has firearms, but of course they're not legally owned unless he got his felony convictions expunged.

What was in the briefcase Jules and Vincent pick up at the apartment?

To me it will always be one of those little book lamps. I remember an episode of All American Girl (The show starring Marget Chow and her zany Korean family) and QT made a guest appearance. He had the exact same briefcase and opened it and pulled out one of those lights.

I must not have an active imagination.
I always thought it was two kilos of cocaine. I guess that is too obvious.
