Since someone else brought up "The Professional" as a very cool movie, I wondered had anyone else seen "Boondock Saints"? On the advice of a friend I found it and fell in love (hence my sig line).

Who else has seen it? What did you think? Favorite parts or lines?

For those who have NOT seen it, I'd describe it as a mixture of "Pulp Fiction" and "Resovoir Dogs"...sorta. Its a little known 'cult movie' and definitely worth a viewing. Great firearms usage!

Just curious....

I saw it on the online recommendation of someone either from THR or thefiringline and I thought it was just awful. I was wondering how a good actor like Willem Defoe got stuck in it.

I loved the Boondock Saints. Got the DVD right when it came out for $11. Loved the weapons room. Anyone know all the guns in there? And what was that Anti Aircraft gun? Man that thing was huge! Listen to the directors commentary on the DVD. Even the director likes guns! Shame he lives in Boston since it has crappy gun laws though.

Plus they're working on a sequel! Hooorayy!!!

P.S. Don't forget the rope. :)

Wyatt *beep* Earp

One of my favorite's.

The question is not how far...but rather, do you possess the constitution, the depth of faith, to wait for frickin' ever for the sequel :fire:

Does anyone have any current info on when All Saint's Day is coming out?

I've been to the website, but there's not too much info.

Gotta get me that 6 pistol chest holster. :D

Willem Defoe is notorious for odd and strange way out there roles. That's what makes him a great actor.Christopher Walken is in the same catagory, not afraid to stretch the limits of a charactor and take it over the top. The movie itself is a bit too stylistic in some parts but overall a superb film. The operatic epiphany of Defoe was bizaar to say the least, but cool too.
