I urge everyone out there rushing to buy all the guns, mags, and ammo their credit cards will hold, to consider putting it toward the NRA (or other 2A group if you wish). When they are ringing you up at the register think about which is more important.

Image if half of the money spent in a panic this weekend went to the NRA, what our community can accomplish.

This is not over yet, we have not lost. Put your money into the fight instead of preparing for defeat.

Good call!

Unfortunately I had no money to put towards a pre-ban gun so my $0 isn't going to mean much to the NRA...

I decided to put my spare cash towards guns that will probably become banned in the near future. Not sure what the NRA can do at this point even with more money in their pocket I'd rather put my money into something I can shoot.

I do, everytime i order from Midway USA i round-up for the NRA, ordered this week and gave. :)

Yeah, like ones who won't sell us downriver with their compromises.

...

I agree fireside. Donate to GOA instead.

That's kind of what I was politely trying to say. I give the bare minimum that the NRA needs for my membership and instructor credentials every year and spread the rest around. I'm not one to panic buy, but did buy a gun this week, probably out of spite as much as anything else (OK, it's a .22 but it looks like an assault weapon, whatever that means this week). I made sure to send an equal amount on RKBA organizations this week. I just fired up the 'puter to write a letter to my pro-gun senator, and also the other guy (NRA "A" rated, but very anti-gun. An A- from those guys is like an F from anybody else).
