No, nothing to do with cheap wine.

Or is it PX4? I await the nomenclature Nazi's correcting me

Last night I noticed that my Px4 has a ripple (or bump) in the frame, just above my riight-handed grip on the right side. I have fired only 3 or 4 boxes of .40 through it and sure hope that something is not going bad.

There is not a similar ripple on the left side.

But now I see a pic on this forum that seems to show this. If you look at this thread and scroll to the picture, and then look just above the pin in the frame (above the removable backstrap), you can see a shadow that seems to show just what I mean.

How many others have this sort of bump or ripple?

Right

...

Yep, you and most every new owner, after they get it home, take it to the range for the first time, then get it home and LOOK at it, clean her, and suddenly, you see the blim on the right side and :what:

It will go away in about 2 more weeks and you won't even notice it anymore, least it won't bother you any more.. lol

Don't worry.. be happy.. ;)

PS.. when you come across the crack on the left rear of the slide, just left, and below, the firing pin, don't worry, be happy, also..

It's supposed to be there.. really :)
