I have 50 Speer bullets, #4211. They are copper jacketed, but have a lead hollow point. When I seat the bullet, the lead is pushed slightly inward toward center and ends up having a smaller hole. The seater is probably shaped to deal with a round nose bullet and so is forming them to that shape.
How can I seat them without deforming the front end of the bullet? A different seating plug that is flat? I'm using Lee dies for 38/357.
Thanks.

You can form any seater plug you need with some epoxy and some elbow grease. You can also use a dremel and or a file. Call RCBS and get you another one coming. I have several seater dies set up for different bullets in the same caliber. Keep an eye out at gun shows for single dies or a cheap set you can modify to your liking.
