I am looking to buy a Maverick 28" barrel, from their website, and I want to know what chokes I need to get (I do not want to buy their factory chokes, I want to get chokes from basspro) the barrel is part #90241, from Maverick/Mossberg, does anyone know what threads these have, IE, Browning Invector, Remington, etc. Thanks so much in advance :D

What do you think about the Redhead brand choke tubes from Bass Pro? Any good? Or should I go with carlson's? thanks, (those my only two options, Im on a budget)

I have no idea about Bass Pro brand tubes as I have never even seen one.

I have to assume they would be O.K. though, or they wouldn't keep selling them and having them returned all the time.

At any rate, some major choke tube company has to be making them for Bass Pro, and it very well could be Carlsons making them for all I know.

As stated I am sure they come from a major manufacture, check out Carlson, Briley or Truelock , they all make quality products ,see who has a good price for what you need . I myself have had great service from Truelock and I believe they give a %5 discount to NRA members.

Proper threads, concentricity, and true constrictions are what count. If the chokes you buy and PATTERN, meet those requirements, then you are ahead of the game.
