Crimson Trace says the laserguard (it's the one that fits on the trigger-guard) will not fit the first generation Glocks that don't have the finger grooves. Anyone have any experience to support this or to prove differently?

If you won't believe the manufacturer, why would you trust anyone here?:scrutiny:

I have the LaserGuard on my G19. You could probably slap one on a 1st gen Glock but the activation button would probably not fit flush.

That's a great question. Best example I can think of is Glock's recommendation (at least in years past) that the consumer not put conversion barrels in their guns (I.e. a 357 sig bbl in a 40 caliber Glock 23). So many people did it successfully that it became clear that it worked great.

I'm looking to hear from people like you who actually tried the laserguard on a 1st generation gun.
