question about NAA .22 LR mini revolver

i have one of the .22 LR minis.ive had it for a while and i love the little pocket gun.my only problem is my big hands.when i fire it im only holding it with one finger and my thumbjust doesnt feel safe to me.plus the recoil from the LR round makes the little gun tip mussle up when i have to fire it like that.
are there any bigger grips that can be bought to fit the mini's?
also,is it safe to shoot .22 shorts in the LR model for plinking?

i wish those would work on mine,but where the frame comes down for my grips is shorter and rounded on mine.

I have those same "boot" grips that ghitch75 shows in the picture on my NAA Mini Magnum. The rounded back edge of the grip frame actually goes inside the wood boot grip. The grip panels have carved inserts on the inside where the NAA grip frame fits into. From the back, you'd see about a half inch of wood extending down past the frame.

I really like these grips. They add about 1/4" of length on the front of the grip, and about 1/2"-3/4" of length on the back. It takes the NAA Mini from a 1-finger grip gun to a 2-finger grip gun. Also, the boot grips are actually thinner from side-to-side than the stock birds head grips.

The first set I got from NAA were a little sloppy no matter how tight I set the grip screw, so they sent me another set for free, and they fit perfectly with no play at all.

+1 on the boot grips....i did the short barrel lr, to do the BBG belt buckle...but it is too small to hold, so i did the boot grip, with a 'shirt' pocket holster....gary

GP; I had the EXACT same issue. So I sold mine. It was really neat, and I got almost all my investment out of it. I just didn't feel comfortable depending on it as a CCW. I practiced with it, but for the life of me I could not consistently hit a targe at 8-10 feet point-shooting it. I had looked for the bigger grips, but never found them like Matthew (above) did. I think you have to get the mag or the square butt to put the bigger grips on it (I'm probably wrong about that apparently). I am planning on getting the 22 mag version with both cylinders and the larger grip. Then I'll shoot .22LR most of the time and carry it with .22 mags.

No. There is not a square butt framed NAA Mini. They all have the rounded Derringer frame. The square butt wood boot grips are made for both the .22LR and .22WMR Minis. Like I said in my post above, the rounded contours of the grip frame fit into carved channels on the inside of the wood grips, and when you put the 2 grip panels together over the frame, they make a solid 1/2" to 3/4" piece of wood that extends down below the back of the grip frame. I'll post pictures of how this works in the next day or 2 if anyone needs to see what I'm trying to describe.
