in the overview of this rifle on the remington web site it says it come with the x-pro trigger on "select models"

I have been unable to find these select models.

also maybe someone can help me find a rifle, I would like to get a stainless, bull and fluted barrel, in a synthetic stock. the closest that I could find is the remington 700 CDL SF and then buy a synthetic stock for it. is there a better option? .30-06 is my prefered caliber. I would like to stick with a manufacture that has aftermarket options out there 9trigger, stock, 1 piece scope mounts) and I hate the mag feed on my savage so I would like to stay away from those. any other options out there?

thanks for the advise in advance.

Did you look at the "Renegade" model of the Remington 700 ?

ya I saw that one, they actually have a limited run of these in 25-06, but im not impressed with this caliber. and Im not sure I want to take the abuse of a 7mm rem mag or 300 win mag which are the only other "real" choices in this rifle.

however after looking at the ballistics/energy for .30-06 and 7mm RM it shoudlnt kick that much more... but it will cost 2x to shoot :barf:
