I had a question about used/trade in glocks. First, are there any kinds that should be avoided (police trade ins ect or any generations)? Second, will Glock give warranty coverage for a used pistol?
I like police trade-ins. Good prices, lightly shot, but usually dinged up a little and dirty. No big deal to me. Not sure about the warranty, but would guess they're covered.
The only problem I've found is they often cost more than new ones. That being said if you can get a deal on a used one then go for it as long as it doesn't look horrible. They are pretty solid guns.
That being said if you aren't a LEO, Military, etc, you can join GSSF for $35 for the first year and $25 a year if you renew after that. If you join, you get to buy one Glock per year at law enforcement pricing which is $425(I think). That's something to check into imo.
