Are you guys allowed to buy/store 00, #1, etc, buckshot shells in the UK?
I've heard you have a tradition of bird/rabbit hunting with small shot, but is buckshot sold there?

I dont believe it is no. The biggest I can get is what we call AAA, which has about 35 pellets per ounce.

We mostly use #8 or 7.5 for sporting clays, #9 for skeet, #6 for pigeon (dove) and maybe #5 for rabbit and pheasants. We'd use BB or AAA for foxes, and maybe #2 for goose.

Time to resume the nightmares then :neener:
Largest shot allowed on a shotgun certificate in the UK is SSG, 9 ball loads, so about the same as your buckshot.

Neil. :)
