I have an Iver Johnson Trailsman that has light primer strikes and misfires.
I see in the e-parts list that the Woodsman hammer spring is only about a buck more than the Trailsman. If it is original mfg. I would expect the quality to be better. Does anyone have a Woodsman spring handy? I want to make sure it will fit before I order the replacement.

TIA

I'm not sure exactly what parts will and what parts won't interchange between the Trailsman and Woodsman.

Chances are that the same subcontractor made both springs so I don't know if you'd be getting a better spring or just paying too much.

I'd give the folks at Numrich a call. They can tell you if they will interchamge or not.
Ditto for Brownell's.

Of course you could just buy one of each and then you can tell all of us.
I usually buy and stash away at least one extra set of springs for my guns anyway.
