Question for Detroit MICHIGAN area shooters

Do any of you shoot at Pontiac Lake? If so, how is it? I just discovered it online and was wanting to try it out (mainly because it's FREE and relatively close). If any of you guys here use it, it would be cool to shoot with some of you.

The biggest limiting factors to my range time are money and time. This would take care of the money aspect so I'd only have to pay for ammo (not ridiculous indoor range fees), which means I could spend the extra $$$ I would have spent on range time on more ammo! Plus I have more weekends free now than I did earlier in the year, which helps out with the time aspect.

I didn't know it was now free. I had heard that it was shut down recently (maybe even during the cold months) and being redone. I haven't been there since '95. Back then the trap and bow areas were simply open fields and there was a rifle range. I thought you had to pay a park entrance fee and then a separate rifle range or trap area fee. Please post a review if/when you go there.
