Have any of you tried using tool attachment from another manufacturer? Like Hornady, Lyman, etc? I'm wondering if they're the right thread pattern for screwing in.

In particular, I'd like to try a different deburring tool (outer neck). The deburring tool that came with the prep center seems to take a long time to cut for 223 brass. Hope to find something that can cut a little faster at a better angle.

Thanks.

Yes, most of them fit.

Checking the threading is not hard. I use the lyman hand tool to check threads. All of the lyman tool heads work just fine :D

Correct, Shoebox.

Also handy for cleaning necks, I believe all cleaning brushes are the same, too. I use 30 cal and 7mm brushes for this quite a bit on the trim mate.

I use the Lyman outer be-burring attachments with my RCBS Trim mate. Unscrewed it from its handle and screwed it onto my Trim mate. Works great. It's a good cutter.

Anything with 8/32 threads should work. I've used the attachments from my Lyman hand tool on the RCBS case prep center.
