used to be the same way...I've gotten better (or worse depending on your perspective). It isn't even the thought of dirtiness so much as other people will know what I am doing, I don't know why this bothers me though.
I don't have a CCW permit and I am contemplating getting one, but I have to think about how carrying will affect my daily life. Not something to go into lightly IMO. I am a bit of a wallflower however and the times when I do go out though are places where concealed carry is not welcomed. (work, football games, baseball games, lacrosse games) otherwise I am going hunting or going to the gun range and am basically open carrying.
