I received four new hornady die sets and I thought I read somewhere that the die box was design to hold the die with the LNL bushing attached and secured to the bushing. True or false?
The cases are nice in that they have a spot for the taper crimp dies as well as the three dies that come in the set, but the only way I can get the dies to fit in the case with the bushings on is to screw the bushing all the way up on the die. This works ok now as I've not had a chance to install the dies in the press and set them up, but when I do I'm thinking the lnl bushing is not always going to end up in the all the way screwed in position.
Do your dies fit in the case properly with the lnl bushing installed and locked down where it is supposed to be for use? I suppose I can hog out the U bracket in there with a dremel which might let the die/bushing set down lower but I'd hope these things would fit in the case without modification?
Thanks
