I've decapped, fullsized, trimmed, and cleaned some military 5.56mm brass. I want to ream the crimped Primer Pockets. Should I ream just at the mouth of the pocket or all the way to the bottom?
The crimp is just at the top of the primer pocket. Be carefull not to enlarge the PP, just remove the crimp. Tools made for this pretty much take care of that for you, but if you use a chamfer tool just a little twist will do.
