Question re: FLA ccw

Church is not on the off limits list for FLA, but my church is use as a Christian school M-F in the daytime. So how do you other Flordia ccw's church goer's treat this situation is it a church or a school? I covet your opinions Thanks

While it is being used as a school it is a school, otherwise it's not.

Call the State Attorney Generals Office and ask them for an opinion, go with that.

ill check my Flordia Firearms Law book tonite and get back with you, i would imagine they treat it the same way they treat restraunts with bars in them but i could be wrong, also i would think a church school would be considered a private school and would be able to post there own "no carry" signs as if it would carry any weight but it does make people feel good.

Edit* after reading the last part of your post, i would defently consider it a church over a school.

i did some reading and it says ANY school public or private, this situation would be a very grey area of the law because it is also a church. i would say error on the side of caution and keep it secured(securely encased) in your vehicle while at church.

Schools need to be Sanctioned or Accredited, otherwise it is a daycare...
