I just ordered the equipment to start reloading.

I ordered a Lee Classic 4 hole turret press, a Lee Pro Auto-Disk measue (and many other things).

I am going to start out loading .45acp(the expander die is also a charging die)

I would soon like to start loading .30-06 and 8mm mauser(once I get a k98), I know Lee makes a rifle charging die for the pro auto-disk(it works the same as the expander/charger die for pistols, but with out the expander) it is made for calibers .22-.30. I know Lee also makes a universal charging die, but it seems to be made to work with the perfect powder measure(hand operated and bench mounted).

Will the 8mm muaser work in the Lee Rifle charging die?

Will the universal die operate the pro auto disk measure?

I have the turret and find the powder measure to be too complicated, so I bought a Dillon digital scale and weight all my rifle powder charges and dump them in manually. I hope you get some tips for charging rifle rounds because I need help too.

Which powder measure is too complicated?

Springfield,

Have you read the information about your equipment on the Lee web site?

http://www.leeprecision.com/cgi/faq/index.cgi

They recommend the Perfect Powder Measure and Universal charging die for large rifle cases (bigger than .308).

If you have questions, call 'em up they are happy to answer them.
