questions about turnig my TC contender pistol into a rifle? PLEASE HELP

I was given a TC contended Gen 1 by my grandfather. Came with a couple pistol barrels but i want to turn it into a rifle too. I was told by TC that some 23'' barrels should work without much trouble. Then I have also read some stuff about finding a stock and fore end for the gen 1

I can fins gen 1 stocks from mid-south without trouble barrels too. however the fore end are troubling me. Anyone who has one of these and done this conversion is it as bad as it seems or am i getting a lot of misinformation like it so prevalent in the gun buying arena

Shouldn't be that much of a problem. The forends can be tricky in that some barrels take different ones. Check out pachmayr's site, they make quite a few contender accessories. Or used to.
