It has been said that Al Gore's position on the 2nd Amendment cost him the election. Isn't is time we suggested a few questions that Bob Schieffer might ask the candidates on Wednesday night?
For instance:
Q: Senator Kerry, what exactly do you believe the words, "shall not be infringed" in the 2nd A really mean? or
Q: Senator Kerry, if the crime rate in states that have CCW is really declining, would you support a national CCW or at least one for your home state of MA?
Q: President Bush, now that the so-called assault weapons ban has been allowed to sunset, what law or laws would you like to see either enacted or repealed regarding the right to keep and bear arms?
