I currently have a DPMS A-15. I purchased new in 1997. I have put thousands of rounds downrange and would like to change out the upper receiver group. I am thinking about the BCM Standard 20" Govt. Profile Upper Receiver Group. With the BCM BCG and standard charging handle.
Has anyone shot this upper? How do they like it? If not can you suggest other alternatives.
I don't need another carbine. I have an Colt LE 6920 and want a variant to the M16A4. I reload all my ammo. I want chrome lining and 1/7 twist. I want a good rifle length AR and will keep the DPMS lower receiver. I am open to all suggestions. Thank you for your honest replies.

DPMS has made a government profile in the past. I am looking at one now as I already have a 20" heavy barrel. It looks like you experience with DPMS so why take a chance with an unknown?

I haven't shot a Bravo 20" but will be ordering a Bravo 16" early next year. You can not go wrong with anything from Bravo.
