Hey guys
Im in the market for a cc 1911 and im thinking about a RIA compact for daily carry and some range time. My quesions are can the philly guns be modified like u s made 1911's accepting parts from wilson combat. Second what other guns might I consider for 500.00. I already have a kimber but don't want to carry it everyday and im looking for a afordable replacement for daily carry.

Thanks
Brandon Ogle

The RIA guns are true GI (pre series 70?) copies, and will accept all the parts you want to add.

I have an RIA full of Wilson parts for sale right now, but it's a 5" gun.

RIA makes extremely accurate and reliable 1911's...I own 2 and

have relied on them for several years now. Check the 1911.org site at the Rock Island Forum and you will find many very happy owners and lots of great testimonials to these very fine pistols. I started shooting 1911's in the 1970's and the only 2 I own now are RIA-made.
And I am considering a third.
