Has anyone used the Infante S9 ultrasonic cleaner for handguns and AR15s? I'm looking for feedback on how well they work when the proper cleaning solution is used and the directions are followed for cleaning handguns, AR15s, and other guns. I'm not too concerned with cleaning brass since I am happy with a rotary tumbler for cleaning cases.

I noticed the S9 at Brownell's. Taking multiple guns to the range all the time and then coming home and cleaning them gets to be quite time consuming and never gets done right away. This unit happens to be bigger than a handgun only unit but smaller than one that would fill a room.

Since it's smaller that a full-size unit, AR15s with their barrels and attached uppers would require two cycles since they are too long to fit the 19" cleaning basket and can't be fully immersed. A portion of each gun would thus get zapped twice since the overlapping portion of the AR would be in the solution a second time when the ends of the gun are reversed in the basket. I'm not sure if this extra time in the cleaner would be okay. I've read that cleaning cycles are supposed to be timed properly, use the right solution, and not be overdone.

Here's a link to the model:

Any experience with this unit that you can share is appreciated.
