Quick 100th year 1911 question

If all 1911s made after this year are going to carry the "100 Year" moniker, is there any point in buying one this year, say, as opposed to 3 years from now?

It's not really feasible for me to buy one right now, and there are a lot of things on my "list" ahead of it, but I would like to own one at some point.

There will be tons of them sold this year. Tons of them will go unsold. There will be lots of the 100th year commemoratives in the used and old stock categories for years IMHO.

I do not think all 1911s will have 100 year monikers after this year.
