Does the BREN 7.62mm NATO MG use FAL magazines?

The previous two posters are incorrect. Yes, 7.62 BREN and commonwealth pattern FAL magazines are interchangeable. DSA has the 30 rounders, should you be the proud owner of a 7.62 BREN.
The .303 BREN magazine is vastly different than an FAL magazine.

I'd rather have 30 round capacity and 7.62mm NATO chamber but those L4 mags are expensive at $35 used to $60 new. The .303 mags are as low as $10 each!
So it's more economical to go the original route, with .303. BUT...Military Gun Supply says that they can convert BREN's to 7.62 x 54R Soviet and still use .303 magazines. Isn't that the best option because of the Soviet round being more available than the british round?

Bren 7.62 by 51 mags can work in the Inch FALs. The front locking lip has to be filed down to fit in Metric FALs. DSA sells such modified Bren 30 rounders. I have a number of them and am glad to have them.
