Quick ? Where are FN HPs made?

Picked up one of the $420 FN-marked HiPowers yesterday. Does not say, made in Belgium, assembled in Portugal, like the current crop of Brownings.

Just has Fabrique National, Herstal Belgium on the right side of slide, and FNMI, Columbia, Sc on the left side of frame.

They are made in Belgium, on the same equipment that Browning models are made on. The only difference is the rollmark. F.N. tried importing them through their U.S. branch FNMI but they found that Americans wanted one that said Browning on it so they dumped them on CDNN. Great gun, and I kinda like the F.N rollmark. You got a great gun at a great price. Enjoy...

FN has always made Browning HP. Same gun, different markings. Enjoy!!!!!!
