Radom P35--Info Please

It is the so-called Type 1 Radom, made soon after the German occupation of Poland. It is the first D series and has all three levers. I can't tell you the exact date it was made, but it was inspected and accepted for German military use by the Waffenamt (WaA) so was presumably used by the German forces. It was probably captured and brought back to the US by an American soldier.

The left grip is original; the right grip is home-made, probably to replace a cracked grip. Check the following site for a replacement grip. I recommend replacing only the right grip (you will have to buy both, of course) if it is a match for the original.

Based on asking prices at Gunbroker, auction estimates at Rock Island and condition, I'd think about insuring that at $1500.

thanks for the info.

i had looked for a grip at one time and given up. thanks for the link.

it is also nice to know what the insurance value is as i have no intention of selling.
