Any ideas on how to raise the point of impact on a shotgun. The shotgun is a Mossberg 835 with a vent rib barrel. It is the camo turkey version. It is hitting about 6" low when only using the front bead.

One of the easiest fixes ,and the most often overlooked is, Keep your head down ,as tho it's glued to the stock. Raising your head to peek, and see if you hit the target is the main cause of shots going low.

Adjustable Comb

Adjustable Combs Put a pad on the comb/stock. This will raise you head, making the shot impact higher. Trap guns all have a high comb/stock. Screw in chokes can cause this problem if out of specification. Mossberg did have adjustable stocks also. images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTxyEkBCSslzcyRZa6GgxEeLxZVlOTMGfXuz_KOBqpPxlNBP9MexQ&t=1.jpg

You could also try different ammo. Different shotgun ammo may have a different POI in your shotgun.

Cabelas sells a comb kit by Beartooth - neoprene slip on cover with several pads of various thickness to allow you to adjust exactly what you are trying to do - costs $20.00
