Oh yeah!??!

C'Mon Man - Spill the beans! Is CZ plannin' on introducing the GAP in any other models?

P-01?
BD?
Gotta have a decocker!

Thanks for the info...

That should be interesting if it takes at least 7+1, but I doubt it will.

Now why the heck don't they make a .357 SIG if they're already willing to gamble on such a new cartridge?

My RAMI wil be in 9mm when I can find one :D ......I like these new rounds but 9mm is just so cheap.

Man, that shows how burned-out I'm getting. The mag came in the mail the other day, and I didn't even bother to read the article.

I need a vacation, so that my hobby stuff seems fun again. :uhoh:

There seems to be some discussion of whether the 75B slide..P-01/PCR
is a proper platform for the .45 GAP. Some think that CZUB would have
to make a bigger slide.

Using the 40B slides like with the CZ40-P (also RAMI) would probably work well.

CZ-USA is also looking hard at the 6.8 Remington SPC cartridge
for chambering in rifles. After years of pushing for new calibers
in CZs, I am very excitied about this new invigorating attitude
at the factory!

Don't forget your FREE 2004 catalogs!

Let CZ-USA know what you think when you ask for the catalog.

I just bought a 9mm RAMI and love it. I will definitely buy the .45 GAP version. I'm hoping it will have a 8 plus 1 rather than 7 plus 1 capacity.

"Some think that CZUB would have to make a bigger slide."
That's what Glock had to do with the 37. People were expecting something more svelt and they ended up with a full sized gun with a little smaller grip.
So that being the case, think CZ-97B with a CZ-75B grip frame.
The reality isn't as attractive as the idea. No thanks. I'll pass. If I want a .45, I'll buy a real .45 and not a mutant. I think it can be said that this is what they invented the .40 caliber for. What is GAP supposed to do? Split the difference between .40 and .45? Again, I'll pass on this.

If it ends up the same size as the CZ RAMI in .40 S&W I might show an intrest, but if it ends up as thick as a Beretta 9000S, forget about it.

I hope the GAP dies a quick and... ... quick death. I'm just getting good at not picking up .40 brass, a different .45 case doesn't sound like any fun to sort out.
