Ok, I've searched the threads here and on TFL about this, and found only a few responses,most pointing to the Bell and Carlson stock at around $200. I've got a CMP Danish Garand with ok wood and a nice WWII buttplate. I'm sort of rough with my rifles both at the range and while hunting, and they tend to get dinged. I've noticed that RamLine makes a synthetic stock for the Garand for about $60. Has anyone used it and have they bedded it successfully? The last Ramline I had was for a 94 Swedish Mauser for basically the same reasons. I did plenty of acraglassing to fit that one, but it was a serviceable stock for the price.
