I have an old .38 Super with a ramped barrel that I want to change over to shoot 9mm for now and put a .45 top end on later. I tried a ParaOrdnance barrel to see if it fits the cut in the frame and it doesn't. Is this the Nowlin/Wilson cut then ? It's a Caspian frame, if that matters.
Also, should I expect to replace the extractor or just try it and expect it might work with the rimless cases ? I already have the Springfield 9mm magazines that work well but don't need another cartridge to load and will be out of 38 Super ammunition soon.
