My piston is about .526
cyl across at opening is .527-.529 depending where I measure, top to bottom I got .541 but I'm not sure my crappy calipers were getting a good purchase.

I can't measure the gas cyl bore properly with my current tools.

You need gauges or pins to measure in side , cant do it with calipers
Did you check the gas screw?
What ammo were you using?

I placed 7th of 13 in the iron sights division, (not too bad IMO)
and...

48th out of 66 overall (not too good. :D ).

I think I'll try the Garand in 3-gun next. Maybe I can find a WWII 1911 and a trench gun as well. LOL

Hey Jeff;
That was really fun and informative to watch -- I was rooting for the Garand and you! Funny (glad!) the FiveseveN was more than a foot off center -- lol. That's what can happen when you go prone and drastically change your rear sight. You'll see how much more relaxed and better you'll be next time.

I noticed you were switching from left to right shoulder but didn't if anyone else was. Was that part of the course of fire, are you ambidextrous or bipolar!?

Thanks for putting that together and sharing it!

On some of the stages it was required to shoot partly from the weak side. I'm right handed but left-eye dominant so I shoot long guns lefty. I'm okay from the right shoulder but my right eye is pretty weak... so on anything other than close up stuff I'm worthless. :D

Nah... if I want to game it I'll run my AR or Mini. I have an ultimak mount on one of my M1 Carbines (my son wanted a scope on his rifle) and they're very well made. :cool:

I may put a scout mount on my 'tanker' at some point (if I can get it running reliably). That might be a fun rifle for something like this with maybe a really light red dot or something.
