Random AR parts

To the guy that built frequently or just like to have a lot of spare parts on hand where's the best place to buy spare parts not in kits? I used to buy from Tactical s*** a lot (avtual website name, not making it up)but the shipping policy has gotten a little out of control and I think it's a way to make up for their low profit margin. I recently had $150 worth of random lower parts they could easily fit all inside of a quart size ziploc. They wanted like $28 to ship. I still think it might be the cheapest place but I'm a little annoyed at that and think I might prefer to shop somewhere even a little more expensive just to not be couch to death on shipping charges.

Some businesses charge freight based on product value rather than weight or bulk. I agree with you, not thrilled with that type of shipping valuation.

Also don't like minimum shipping charges. You order a screw for $2, and instead of just sticking it in a first class envelope for 49 cents, they throw it in a big box by itself and charge $10 postage.

Have you looked at PSA for parts?
