No, I have not tried. I shot the 53 years ago but at paper, rocks, etc. no game. The only loose 223 bullets I have right now is about six 55 gr Sierra HPBT Gamekings. I can leave them at the range for you if you want them to try. I shoot every Friday on the way home from work.
I was going to use the IMI 77 gr HPBT-Match for coyote. They shoot good enough in my guns, they are not really “Match ammo” IMO, and I have close to 400 on hand LOL. Not sure what else they’d be good for.
