The Kahr CW45 was disassembled Saturday and cleaned.
Disassembly was a little difficult because the weapon was brand new and stiff. All the factory oil was removed with gun solvent and weapon was oiled lightly and re-assembled.

Sunday, today, the Kahr CW45 was brought at a range with a friend. The range can be used at variable distances.
Ammunition: Winchester .45 ball, 100 rounds.

The first 25 rounds were fired at 25 yards. Accuracy was not an issue though proper aiming was adhered to. The first 25 rounds was to break in the weapon and get it warmed up. The weapon has no safety yet even though the trigger squeeze is long it is totally adequate. 4 in bulls eye.
The next 25 rounds were fired at 15 yards at a second target. I was shooting low just below the black bulls eye yet the pattern was extremely tight. I let my friend try it out several times and he was extremly impressed with its performance.
The next 25 rounds were fired at the second target with an aiming adjustment and most went into the black bulls eye with again a tight group.
The last 25 rounds were fired at the third target and the black bulls eye was pretty much decimated.
100 rounds with no stove pipes, no failure to feed, no misfires. This weapon loves ball ammo.

Plan to fire 100 rounds of hollow point soon to see if performance is equal to ball ammo.

Overall performance: excellent. The first round and the last fired flawlessly.

Disassembly and assembly after firing was a pleasure-simplicity in design is truly a hallmark of this weapon. Disassembly and assembly after 100 rounds was not as hard as the first time due to exercising of all its parts.

Concealed function: excellent.

Overall satistaction: Excellent!!! Firing this handgun is truly a pleasure.

She looks Plain Jane but its simplicity in looks and internal design makes this a formidable weapon. This Plain Jane becomes very sexy when firing her!!!

Nice gun you have there.

But don't expect disassembly to get much easier. I have an E9, which they don't even make anymore and I still can't remove the takedown pin with my hands alone. >.<

Oh yeah! The offset ramp is amazing. and how it releases striker is ridiculously simple.

How do you get the takedown pin out without using the magazine plate as a lever, though? Mine is in there so tight I need something to push it with.

Nushif, go to Kahr CW45 disassembly, find You Tube video; there is a very good video on disassembly/assembly by Kahr. I found the video very helpful always better to visualize something.
