I have that same E series. I love it but I do have FTF issues with Federal Champion ammo. Hornadys seem to feed fine. Have you had any similar issues?

Mine hasn't jammed with anything actually. But I did replace the factory spring with a Wolff spring before shooting it. I tend to like wolff springs.

Apparently, the lack of a rear sight on the Model 22-2 didn't hurt your accuracy. The .45ACP is my favorite round, but I do lack a .45 ACP revolver. I'll have to pick one up one of these days.

Mike Venturino had an article in American Handgunner a while back, where he called the .45ACP the best revolver round. He made some good points.
 
I guess I've just never had a problem with the M-58, M-13 and M-681.

On the other hand, the white on white of a M-642 is a bit harder to pickup
 
No ribbing at all.

I think that is pretty good shooting considering there is no rear sight on the 22-4.
 
That 22-4 has a rear sight, just a squared up groove in the top strap,
