Ordered Sig 2340 from Summit, came in yesterday. Now I realize some on this forum consider this pistol a bastard Sig, as this is old school poly frame. OK, I can deal with that and respect your opinion.
For those others who would care to know, I will give my unbiased range report.
1. Federal 180 blunt nose target ammo:200 rounds, 0 ftf, fte, 27 feet 5 inch groups. Allow me to say, I am 64 years old, failing eyes, and not that great of shot.
2. Federal HJMC (Think this is right, 180gr. JHP self defense round) 100 rounds, 0 ftf, 0 fte, close, but not quite 3 to 4 inch groupings (lots of Zombie head shots), between 25 and 30 feet.
Big story here: The best trigger I have ever pulled. It almost seems like ( on this pistol, the armorer did some custom work) DA (my guess) seems 8lbs. or less, SA seems 2.5-3lbs. Realy ,realy light, yet goes BOOM everytime.
