Hello THR,
I am writing for a second time about a not so secret pet crow smashing round in development that is cheap and easily created, that being said this has only been developed with my rifle a Ruger American ranch in 5.56 which I am currently upgrading and trying to do my best recording what I see and posting hem here. If you haven't read my last post on this (appropriately titled with load data 1) then I recommend reading that first. I purchased a economy Caldwell chronograph and unfortunately it acted up during this session, it was blinking broken numbers at me like a prop computer in Star trek, so it was useless to me unfortunately so accuracy is the only thing I can post.
Basically I reloaded the same 3gr of Trailboss as mentioned before but tried powder coating them this time, I wrote a HELP post on here last night when powder coating they wouldn't stick but I had to get them done for a pest day with my vet buddy early this a.m (see pic...so bad) so this will be done properly and reposted for my pursuit in crow smashing glory.

(For reference last velocities on LOAD#1)

Load data #2 was the same but poorly PC'ed I will revisit this

The best group I fired was 1.06"@50yds and had flyers so I like I stated I will have to revisit this later.
To be fair I had shot 50rnds of this same projectile without a gas check with 11gr of IMR4227 and that was too much and accuracy went to pot (@1,732fps) without recleaning the bore (no leading was observed later during cleaning btw).
I know this wasn't super interesting I failed to powder coat properly and be able to provide velocity data but there is a better comparison in the near future, I've recently bit the itch with a Boyd's stock that my Ranch so desperately needed and I will be able to compare the differences in accuracy before and after as well as other loads I've been working in which were both the vmax and the barnes ttsx I showed in my post on the experience so far with this rifle so keep an eye out.
